This is about Soke Cameron along with the explaination
of where and how he developed his concepts and
teachings into the powerful system now known as
Creotology® Personal
Development.
Creotology Personal Development Programs explore the
study of creation. It has always been his belief the
martial arts should not only be about learning to defend
yourself, but also how to improve yourself. In many
schools, the “personal development” side of training has
been forgotten; however, there are still martial arts
schools that are doing their best to promote and teach
personal development. Our hat goes off to all those school
owners who are doing it right.
Soke Cameron’s first two experiences he had are rare and
have only been done by few people. It is for sure a very
small group of people. He first started practicing breath
work like most people start out doing in the martial arts.
You practice the mechanical movements of certain strikes,
kicks, and blocks, while breathing in alignment with your
movements. Then his instructor had him doing breathing
katas (mechanical movements of the martial arts). Some of
the movements were shallow and soft breaths; some were hard
and forceful breaths. Movements were alternated back and
forth. They would practice chest breathing and abdomen
breathing. Next, they trained in back breathing. They soon
developed a system for breathing that isolated all the
breath and certain muscle groups for the body.
They worked, what was referred to as, internal energy.
Now to Soke Cameron, this was a generic idea, for the body
is energy anyway. Therefore, no matter what you are doing,
you are always working with energy. He prefers to think of
it more like isometric muscle movements that are in direct
alignment with your breathing. It is carried out by a
shifting in your belief systems. This expands your
consciousness and allows the concept of self to accept and
do bigger and bigger things. After much breath work and
body movements, they got to the point where they could take
full power kicks to the groin with no protection. They
could take hits to the solar plexus and anywhere (all over
the body and head).
We know what you are thinking and we don’t blame you. We
wouldn’t think it was real either. However, Soke Cameron
has many of his own black belts who can do it, so it is a
proven formula. You just have to be able to open yourself
to the idea and experience the possibility.
They started doing breath work in special made vats of
ice water. The vats were made with special arm and leg
structures (so they would not drown) and there were always
plenty of people around for an extra measure of safety.
They would practice all of their breathing katas and
breathing concepts in these vats of freezing
water.
After about two years of this, his instructor wanted to
know if he wanted to do something weird and exciting. The
instructor told him it would expand his consciousness like
nothing he had ever done before. He thought, “After taking
the hits and kicks to the major parts of the body, what
could expand my consciousness more than that?” They were
already doing what other people say is not possible. Well,
out by his house he introduced Soke Cameron to a hole in
the ground. It was just wide enough for someone to jump
into and stand. He told him that this used to be a form of
suffering and torture, but after he did it, he realized it
was a great tool for consciousness.
He explained to Soke
Cameron “I went into the ground for five days and
four nights, covered up to my neck in dirt. You will
be allowed just enough water to keep from dehydrating
and no food.” Soke Cameron told him “Yes I would like
to try.” It was the most incredible experience he says
he ever had in his life.
After he came back from this experience, over the next
three years, he began to write information out he did not
have to think about. It just came to him. That is also the
time he began his mission. He has listened to hundreds of
self-help programs, attended seminar after seminar, and
read hundreds of books on the subject. He spent time alone
just thinking about the information. He felt the
information could be created into planned missions to
incorporate the information. He produced a system that you
could learn directly from and grow as an
individual.
After over twenty-five years in the martial arts, he was
awarded his Sokeship He was given this honor by Soke John
Kanzler of the Eastern USA International Martial Arts
Association. Here are some of his ranks and titles- just so
you have a reference to what he has accomplished in the
martial arts.
During his twenty-five years in the martial arts, he has
viewed about every personality known to man. He has seen
the super aggressive to super docile, bad tempered to nice,
and people who accept responsibility for themselves and
others who are in complete denial. Over the last ten years
of his martial arts training, he made journals of these
people. He carefully wrote down what he observed about them
and what he had learned from it. He applied many different
tactics on how to get along with them and for them to get
along with their fellow members. Although it was a daunting
task, it was eventful. He learned so much .He considered
that experience (of observing all of their experiences)
among one of his greatest teachers.
